June 15th we said  adios to Mexico and crossed into Guatemala. It only took us about 1 hour to check out of Mexico and check in Guatemala. Nice and easy!!! We drove about 30 KM’s into Guatemala and stopped for the evening. As it was 4:30 pm. We hope to drive to Antigua and stay several days.

Incredibly beautiful drive. This country is very very green and a lot of volcanoes. Saw several and 1 eruption. That one apparently does this every 15 to 30 mins. You can see the black smoke in the white clouds. These are pics I took as Clarence drove.
